The inaugural flight of Jazeera Airways arrived in Dhaka on Thursday night and left Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport early today. The airline will operate flights on the Dhaka-Kuwait route also on different destinations within the Middle East. With Jazeera Airways, a complete 13 foreign airlines are now operating from HSIA. Earlier, 12 foreign airlines began their operations from HSIA after flight operation from Dhaka had resumed from June 16, Beni Madhab, an assistant deputy director of HSIA, told The Daily Star recently. Before the Covid-19 pandemic, 26 foreign airlines wont to operate flights from HSIA.
