Checked Baggage:
Quantity of a passenger checked baggage allowance depends according to route, class of travel, terms and conditions of the ticket, and Enrich tier status. Not a single piece of baggage is allowed to exceed 32kg or 70 pounds if there’s any single baggage exceeding 32 kg won’t be accepted in any check counters at any station. Any other musical instrument or sports equipment should be sent as cargo.
Passenger should pack the baggage in such way so the baggage can handle any ordinary handling. For any special baggage a reservation should be made in advance otherwise Malaysian Airline may refuse to accept the liability.
Carry-On Baggage:
Passengers are allowed to carry an amount of unchecked bag free of charge in cabin with the limitation of weight, number and dimensions.
- Economy class passengers may have one carry-on baggage within 7 kg.
- Business and first class passengers may have two carry-on baggage within 7 kg each.
Other personal hand baggage may also allow as carry-on baggage such as:
- A briefcase.
- An overcoat, wrap or blanket.
- A handbag, pocket book or purse.
- An infant carrycot.
- Reading material for the flight.
- Electronic equipment .
- Food for infants and children for in-flight consumption.
Carry-on baggage size should be fitted to keep on overhead compartment, underneath the sit or in front passenger.

Excess Baggage Charges
If the weight of checked baggage limit exceeds then an additional charge have will be required to pay. Excess baggage charge will depend on the basis of routes. A passenger can purchase prepaid excess baggage at 20% cheaper than the excess baggage rate at the airport.
